Data loss prevention (DLP) consists of checking outgoing messages for security and privacy sensitive content that violate that your organization policies or regulations such as the GDPR. You can define your own policies or use predefined policies that can be used in DLP.

DLP must be enabled explicitly for DLP monitoring to be effective.

 

To enable DLP,

  1. Click Manage Accounts
  2. Select Addin Configs
  3. Check Enable DLP in the checkbox menu
  4. Click Save Configurations

 

To disable DLP, uncheck the DLP checkbox menu.
